To reflect enhancements in model quality, Stable Audio now assigns track credits based on the generation time required:

Is every piece of generated audio unique?
Absolutely. Each audio file generated by Stable Audio is uniquely crafted by our AI, ensuring that no two files are the same.
What data was this model trained on?
Our AI model is trained using a dataset provided by our music partners, AudioSparx.
Will this model be open sourced?
We plan to release an open-source version of our music generation model, which will be trained on a distinct dataset, in the near future.
How can I cancel my subscription or update my payment information?
You can manage your subscription and payment details by following these steps:
- Log into your account and click on your avatar in the top right corner.
- Choose “Manage payments.”
- Follow the instructions in the email from Stripe to either cancel your subscription or update your payment methods.
When will my subscription renew?
All paid subscriptions automatically renew on the same date and time each month that you initially subscribed. The free plan renews on the first day of each month.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription and what happens?
You can change your subscription level at any time through your account settings. Upgrades are applied immediately, and you’ll be charged a prorated amount. This amount includes VAT/sales tax, if applicable, calculated based on the time of upgrade within the current billing cycle.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for subscription charges may be issued at our discretion under the following conditions:
- Unintentional purchases by friends or family.
- Unrecognized charges not made by you or known individuals.
- Requests made within 48 hours of the charge, with usage under 2% of the monthly allotment.

What are the specific allowable uses for music generated under the Creator license?
The Creator license allows you to use the generated audio for individual commercial projects and releases, including streaming on music platforms, social media, personal podcasts, videos, and commercial products, as long as the monthly active users (MAU) do not exceed 100,000. Can I cancel my subscription at any time and what happens to my audio license when I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Audio generated under the Pro tier and higher remains covered by the original license terms even after subscription cancellation.
